We are passionate about supporting the Australian Fashion Industry and keeping manufacturing jobs local, helping to build expertise in an otherwise declining workforce; this helps to support our communities and provide for those generations to come.

 

It takes many hands to make a garment and it shouldn't come at a cost to the workers.

 

When you purchase a Nya garment you can rest assured all our associated workers are working in safe environments and are paid a fair living wage.

 

 

We work with Melbourne printers using non-toxic water based inks.

Our local pattern makers, cutters & sewers all adhere to strict fair work practises.

 

We only use GOTS certified organic and natural fibres.

Our fabric is GOTS certified (Global Organic Textiles Standard). This is a Worldwide accreditation providing assurance that a minimum 95% of the fibre is grown organically by farmers, free from harmful and banned substances, and within a socially compliant supply chain.
